Bright pops of colour lead Kennett spring/summer lines
This spring/summer Kennett Timepieces is injecting colour into its watch collections, tapping into a key trend from this year’s international watch shows for classic styles livened up with bright flashes of colour.
A rainbow of summery leather straps are available across the ladies’ Kensington, Carnaby, Lady Savro and Lady Savro Empire collections. Colour options include light pink, hot pink, purple, red, sky blue and royal blue, as well as cooling ice white. The trend for bright colours also extends to the men’s watches with a focus on royal blue straps available in the Kensington, Savro and Modern Savro collections.
Kennett founder Tom Kennett said: “As we’ve seen at all the international watch shows this year, colour is an important trend for spring/summer and our new collections offer a kaleidoscope of choices at exciting price points. “What is really interesting is that in the initial sales of these watches, which have been very strong so far, the colours are selling evenly, with no particular one leading the race. This tells us that the crux of this trend is for bright colours in general rather than one particular popular colour, which taps into the concept of watch wardrobes and consumers who are ready to have fun with their purchases and be bold in their choices as they are no longer relying on just one watch. The watch market is now very fashion driven and we have a fantastic, cohesive range to cater to that.” Kennett’s range of bright, summery watches range from £150 for a minimalist design from the Kensington collection up to £250 for a chronograph in the Savro Modern line.
