Windsurfer Keith Atkinson added to Kennett Sports Roster

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Keith Atkinson, the 11-time British Formula windsurfing champion & former BBC Sports Personality of the Year, has signed with KENNETT to become the latest Sports Ambassador for the watch brand. The 28 year-old joins golfer Chris Hanson and a number of racing drivers in what is now a substantial group of talented UK-based sportsmen who will be representing the KENNETT brand.  


Tom Kennett, founder of the Kennett brand, said of the deal: “To have a presence in golf, motorsport and now windsurfing is a great reflection of how the brand has grown and gives a great representation of the diversity and quality of our products. Keith’s record in the sport is outstanding; to be a British champion in your field just once is impressive, but to have eleven titles to your name is almost unheard of. We now have a great stock of champion sportsmen in our ranks and I look forward to Keith, and all of our ambassadors, adding many more titles to their names with KENNETT alongside them,” said Tom.

Ginetta GT Championship leaderTom Sharp signed as KENNETT Ambassador

Tom Sharp, the runaway championship leader in the Ginetta GT Championship has recently partnered with Kennett, a designer of original cufflinks, watches and unique accessories.


“It’s great to know people believe I’m worth investing in and have faith in me to succeed in the championship and I will be proud to be wearing a Kennett watch for the rest of the season. Recently my racing career is going from strength to strength with new sponsors, being awarded a BRDC Rising Star and winning 8 out of 9 races so far. With this Kennett watch partnership I hope to continue to have great success in the near future,” explained Sharp.


The collaboration between Tom Sharp and Kennett will not only provide the perfect platform to promote the company’s expanding range but also help establish their brand through the association with this high profile sport.

“Tom has raced to a huge early lead in the Ginetta Championship, underlining his quality as a driver. We are delighted to be working with such a huge talent and take this chance to wish him all the best for the rest of the season,” commented the young entrepreneur Tom Kennett.

Golfer Hanson extends partnership with KENNETT

It gives us great pleasure to announce a continuation and expansion of our partnership with European Challenge Tour golfer, Chris Hanson, which began last year. Chris took the Europro Tour by storm in 2011, winning three times and taking the Order of Merit title by over seven thousand pounds.













Throughout 2012, Chris will be travelling the world wearing Kennett watches on his wrist on numerous continents at various different tournaments, making him a fully global ambassador.

On the deal, Chris said: "It is fantastic to be associated with such an exciting brand who really do have the passion and desire to succeed in such a competitive market. BTCC ace Frank Wrathall signs as Kennett Sports Ambassador

We are delighted to announce that British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver, Frank Wrathall, has become the latest high-profile KENNETT Sports Ambassador. Wrathall joins fellow drivers Jake Cook and Tom Ingram in a burgeoning group of talented UK-based sportsmen who will be representing the KENNETT brand.  


Wrathall was buoyant on the news of this new partnership: “I am a huge fan of the KENNETT watches and really like how ambitious the brand is to grow across the world and become a major player in their industry. Their aspirations resonate with me as I continue to work up the racing ladder and strive to improve season-on-season. Jake Cook announces Ambassador partnership with Kennett Watches

On the back of his opening round success in the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain, Jake Cook is pleased to announce a new partnership with Kennett watches.

Jake will be acting as ambassador for the Kennett name, as he strives to continue his strong start to his 2012 campaign. “It’s fantastic to get involved with the Kennett Brand. To be an ambassador is a role I’m honoured to fulfil,” Jake said.

Speaking on behalf of this new partnership, Tom Kennett, founder of the Kennett brand said: “Everything Jake does is of the highest quality, both on and off the track. He's made a great start to the Formula Ford Championship and we are hopeful he will still be at the top of the pile come the end of the season.

Ingram picked as one to ‘watch’ as Kennett appoints him brand ambassador

In a sport in which results are invariably determined by split-second precision and minute gaps on the timing screens, Tom Ingram’s newest sponsor should come in ‘handy’ indeed – as the talented High Wycombe-based speed demon has been appointed a brand ambassador for up-and-coming watchmaker Kennett.

 

Founded and run by young entrepreneur Tom Kennett, in an effort to further broaden its burgeoning popularity and appeal, the ambitious and eponymously-named timepiece company is branching out into the sporting sector.

Kennett has targeted the realms of motor racing, golf and polo amongst other high-end disciplines – and having been impressed by Ingram’s title-winning prowess in both the Ginetta G50 Cup and Ginetta Junior Championship in recent years, the 18-year-old MSA Academy member was an obvious choice to help propel the business into the fast lane.

  

“To be selected as an ambassador for Kennett is both a tremendous honour and a huge opportunity for me,” enthused the former British Karting Champion, already a winner in his JHR Developments-run Ginetta G55 in the ITV4-televised, British Touring Car Championship-supporting Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup this season.

“Kennett is a relatively new company, but also one that is proving to be extremely successful, and I’ll be proud to be wearing one of their watches on my wrist. Hopefully, we can help to raise each other’s profile and go on to enjoy a long-term relationship together.”

KENNETT Launch first watch model for the female marketplace

KENNETT, One of Britain’s fastest growing lifestyle brands have launched their first watch model for the female market; The Lady Savro Chronograph.

The Kennett Lady Savro Chronograph launches officially this weekend and takes inspiration from the increasing success of the KENNETT Savro watch series; initially only envisaged and released in a male size.

The new ladies model has been scaled down in diameter from a 43.5 MM male size to 34mm to better suit the female wrist and is constructed with a Rose Gold 316 stainless steel case, encapsulating a high grade white mother of pearl dial adorned with Swarovski elements. Driving the watch is a Miyota Chronograph movement – as used in the rest of the existing Kennett fashion watch collections.

“I launched my brand thinking that we would just cater for the male market however we have been increasingly told by the female partners of our male customers that KENNETT watches were wanted in female varieties and in particular a smaller, feminine version of the Savro watch would be very well appreciated. After several months of development we are really pleased with the result of our first ladies model and excited to see how the Lady Savro performs for us – the initial reaction has been tremendous!”

With high ambitions, the Lady Savro will be first of several new models to be released by KENNETT, with one new design due to be launched for female sector each quarter of this year. Developments will include a luxurious ceramic model and a female version of their highly popular Altitude model – currently only available in a larger case.

KENNETT have increasing export sales in over 10 countries and recently started selling online in the UK via ASOS.com. The brand was started by 26 year old Scottish Entrepeneur; Tom Kennett in 2009 and has so far attracted a great deal of celebrity following from the likes of Gerard Butler, Ashley Walters, Iain Wright, Nick Cannon, Scott Maslen.

The female range is set to attract the eye of a number of female stars too – with Alesha Dixon – judge on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent being first female celebrity to have a KENNETT Watch – “We heard from Alesha’s stylist on Twitter last night that she loves her KENNETT Lady Savro watch and we are very pleased to have Alesha as one of our first female celebrity followers.”

The Lady Savro watches are available as chronographs in Rose Gold case and have leather straps in white, brown and black. They have mid sized cases and RRPs upwards of £270.
